Channel Guy Trader: RIG sitting right on Ascending Channel stop yesterday low
RIG is sitting right on an upward channel trendline. Going long with a stop under yesterdays low could be a trade for today.

Morning Traders,
I have posted a chart this morning showing a lot of trap on the hourly /ES proprietary channel system chart. We have a possible inverse head and shoulders with the right shoulder forming a bear flag in it as we speak. If the pattern plays out this market is looking to sell hard. There is a lot of fear creeping back into the markets with all this stuff going on so be sure to watch the VIX and the $USD. The key level to watch is going to be 1186 area. Holding below that level will be bearish. At the same time we have a lot of news coming out this a.m. Stay on your toes. GL

Channel Guy Trader:Dollar weighing on the markets!!
The dollar is weighing on the markets and it looks like the bull flag may be playing out on the /DX dollar futures chart. We have rallied a lot overnight, so lets see if they want to knock the dollar down a little on market open and run the markets up a bit. We will see, but obviously with the Ireland situation, watching the inverse correlation with the markets and the Dollar futures will be key.

Trade Setups for 11/18/2010
Just testing a new way of putting up trade alerts on the blog besides the newsletter so you guys can see what we are looking for. I see a lot of other bloggers showing there trade ideas in the same way and it makes it much better to view and put up a decent discussion. Enjoy!! This is just a test right now, but looks like this will start being a regular. We will try to put up atleast 3 good ones for the next day.
HGSI I guess was a buy pre-market.
We made money on the HGSI buy pre-market for a quick scalp. Good thing we got out of it before these big funds ran there sell orders. Join our facebook to get some of our trades realtime.

Markets get crushed overnight. Is there more?
Markets are getting crushed overnight as futures are back below 1200. I say the best trade tomorrow will be to buy volatility via the VXX and HOLD. Fear is definitely back in the market ladies and gents. See you in the a.m. I'm pulling an all nighter. Oh yeaa!! 5 hour energy
